Work Parties

All adult members of the Club are required to participate in at least 1 work party every 5 years. If you are interested in assisting the Club then please consider attending a Work Party.

Regular Work Parties

There is a work party at each lodge in Autumn to prepare the lodge for Winter, and in Spring to prepare the lodge for Summer. The dates for 2013 are:

Special Work Parties

There is a significant amount of work to be done on Kyilla, including replacement of the footings under the A-frame beams and repair to rot in the beams, roof replacement, construction of dormer windows upstairs and bathroom renovations. This work will be primarily undertaken by professional builders and tradesmen, under the direction of Bruce Hartican, VP Kyilla. Work party dates are set for suitably skilled members who wish to assist. There will be demolition work undertaken in the early work party which may be suitable for those without trade qualifications. Contact Bruce for more details.

Work dates in March, April and May are yet to be announced but stay tuned to the website for more updates.

Bookings

To make a booking please DO NOT use the online booking function. Contact the Club's Administration Manager to register your interest.

If you intend to participate, and you do not have a NPWS Annual pass on your vehicle, please email your vehicle’s make, model, year and registration number and the Club will arrange free entry into the Park. Please note that all applications need to be sent to NPWS 3 weeks prior to the work party. Late applications cannot be processed by NPWS and you will need to buy a vehicle pass.
